Custom Control FactoryFrequently Asked Questions1. I installed Custom Control Factory but when I try to add the control to my form, I get a "License information for this component not found. You do not have an appropriate license to use this functionality in the design environment" message? The license files need to be in the same directory as the controls. Look for the ccbtn.lic or mlist.lic file. You can look at the install.log file in your CCF directory to see which directory the files were installed to. Copy the *.lic files to the directory where the OCX files were installed to.
The sample demo executable was compiled in Visual Basic 3 and requires the VB 3.0 run time file. You can download this from our site. Click here to download vbrun300.zip. 3. When I run the ccbdemo sample project in Visual Basic 5.0 or 6.0, the sample buttons look weird or change when they lose the focus. The ccbdemo sample project was saved in Visual Basic 3.0 file format. There was a problem converting the button when the control was converted to a Visual Basic 5.0 or 6.0 file format. The easiest way to restore the original images is to go into the button's property page and select the "General" tab, then the "Save CCB" button. Assign a name for the CCB file to save to. Then create a new CCB control and select the "General" tab then the "Load CCB" button and load the file you previously saved. |
